A new partnership with Fife Employability Consortium. Partner agencies are Brag, Clued Up, Kingdom Works, Fife Voluntary Action, Frontline Fife, Ore Valley and CARF.


CARF has employed a Transition to Employment worker whose role is:


Helping the transition to employment by:


·         Providing benefit checks, advice and assistance to claim any current entitlement

·         Completing better off calculations for any future employability goals in order to improve sustainability.

·         Assistance to access discretionary statutory and charitable assistance to remove barriers to employment.

·         Financial Capability workshops covering topics such as budgeting, childcare costs, work place pensions, tax codes and other work related expenses.

·         One to one financial capability support to identify potential to reduce expenditure.

·         Advice on opening and operating bank accounts

·         Advice on affordable credit options such as CDFI and Credit Union

·         In work support provision, offered at flexible times to suit clients work commitments

·         Service integrated into Fife ETC members existing provision such as ALBA course and drop in services across Fife in response to client demand.


All project referrals to be made to Fife ETC partnership agencies only, CARF has no responsibilities for project registration.
