Coronavirus Update: We are still accepting referrals. We are continuing to support our members through this time. Members are being supported via telephone & video calls, as well as a variety of social media platforms. Daily activities are also being provided via our members private Facebook Group.
Club Members benefit from professional therapeutic group work that allows natural attributes, skills and abilities to emerge and be recognised. Members become self-sufficient and self-sustaining, enjoying personal development through peer support and new-found friendships. They achieve in ways they had not envisaged they could.
Curnie Clubs are organised throughout Fife and are for adults aged 26 to 49 years old. Current clubs are located in Cowdenbeath, Cupar, Dunfermline, Glenrothes, Kirkcaldy and Methil. Club times are usually 10am to 1pm, and are open different days of the week pending location.
To find out more please get in touch.
Caring professionals may refer their patients and clients to Curnie Clubs. People can self-refer should they wish to do so. For further information about referring view our Referral Details Tab.
Please note while this service is part of FASS, membership is open to anyone (within the age limit) experiencing social isolation, it is not retricted to those experiencing alcohol and/or drug problems.

Caring professionals and support services may refer their patients and clients to Curnie Clubs. Please note due to our age limits referrals should be aged between 26 and 49 years old.
We accept referrals via FORT, telephone or email. If emailing us, we require the following information: name, date of birth, address, contact number and/or email address.
Please state whether there is a preferred time/day they should be contacted. We will get in touch with them and invite them to their nearest Curnie Club, where we will complete an assessment form with them. If your client is confident to contact us directly, we are happy to accept self-referrals.
Should your client be feeling anxious about this first meeting and not confident about attending on their own, you are welcome to accompany them. We also offer a Community Bridgework Service. Your client can be assigned a Community Bridgework Volunteer, who will contact them and arrange to meet with them regularly until your client feels sufficiently confident to attend a Curnie Club. The Volunteer can also accompany them to the club for their first visit.
