ADAPT is the main drug and alcohol triage service in Fife. It provides assessment of need and referral to specialist drug and alcohol services within the NHS and Third Sector.
ADAPT also provides information, advice and brief help for alcohol and/or drug use. Anyone requiring more intensive help can be guided and supported towards ADAPT counselling and other services. We also provide advice and counselling for carers of people suffering from substance misuse.
Our Support Workers can help you work out what you need to do and help you towards the right sources of help. They listen carefully, help you assess your needs and choices, help you find the right service and keep in touch with you afterwards to check that you are getting the help you really need.

How to get help from ADAPT
Upon receipt of your referral we will contact your client and offer details of one of our Recovery Clinics. If necessary, a home visit may be arranged for someone unable to travel or we will contact by telephone.
Your client can also drop-in to one of our Recovery Clinics. There are several available each week in Fife. You can find out where they are on our website Locations page https://www.fassaction.org.uk/adapt-where/
