The Money Advice team offers a free, confidential advice service for clients living or working in Fife who have money worries. Money Advice plays an important part in improving the quality of people’s lives by tackling social exclusion and inequality. A money Adviser can help with:

• Income maximisation
• Budgeting Advice, including examining ways to reduce expenditure and helping clients to managing their money better
• Negotiation with Creditors to turn unmanageable debt into manageable debt
• Provide direct assistance with debt related issues, including formal remedies such as helping a client to apply under the  Debt Arrangement Scheme (DAS) or completing bankruptcy applications
• Advice on changing a bank account
• Access charitable grants
